SigmaO 是一個去中心化期權交易平台，將衍生品市場帶到 Ergo 區塊鏈。該協議支援美式和歐式行權風格的看漲和看跌期權，為 Ergo 原生代幣提供複雜的對沖和投機策略。
期權被表示為 EIP-4 代幣，使其可在任何 Ergo 市場上交易。訂單簿模型允許期權賣家設置自己的溢價和行權價，而買家可以選擇符合其市場觀點的合約。智能合約在到期時或提前行權時（對於美式期權）自動處理期權行權。
SigmaO 展示了如何在 eUTXO 模型上實現複雜的金融衍生品。每個期權合約直接在代幣中編碼其參數（基礎資產、行權價、到期日、期權類型），創建自描述的金融工具。這將機構級交易工具帶入了去中心化生態系統。
